What a rabbit hole that "begins in 2023" is. He's good, twisted but in a good way (read twisted to my taste) and a lot of comics logged.
Boy soldiers? In the mid 1800's a male 13 or 14 was expected to do the work of and behave like a man. They had to grow up in a hurry and by that age had been hunting for years so were fair shots.
