A Trinitron is a CRT. A 36" would weigh about at least 100 pounds. This guy just wants someone to haul off his garbage. I recently sent a TV like that to the recycling center, even though it worked fine, and had to enlist serious help. (via Bad Newspaper)

Around 25 years ago I lived in a house with two friends, and together we co-owned a 36 inch Trinitron. That thing was a beast.
Later I also owned a 34 inch HD Trinitron, which weighed 200 pounds.
I think the 36 inch (non-HD) tube was closer to 250 or 300 pounds.
I have a 40" CRT that weighs 290 lbs. I asked a buddy to help me move it to a new perch and warned him it was near 300 lbs. We started to pick it up and it started to tip and he said set it down, set it down.
Had to get a better grip because he thought I was exaggerating.
It's too bad they weight so much and don't have HDMI inputs. Those old TVs worked for decades. Meanwhile, I've gone through four flat screens in 15 years and I don't even watch TV!
