"Put Your Hand In The Hand" by the Canadian group Ocean went to #2 in the US and was a #1 song in New Zealand and Norway in 1971. Catchy tune, great message, and the only reason it didn't hit #1 in America was because of Three Dog Night's "Joy to the World." Like any song from 1971, it brings back great memories for me.

Yes, Zozo Bruce, I'd been booted out of the Catholic college I was forced to go to a few years before this came out ... so I was then, as now, dead set against religion and the church control 'sin drome' ... but as god is my witness, lol, I swear I sang along to this song about the illegitimate son of Sky Ghost. .
