Vincent Price starred in the 1959 film House on Haunted Hill. He's the host of a party in which he offers the guests $10,000 if they will stay the night. It's not what you might think. He knows they will either run screaming or else die trying to stay, because the house is thoroughly haunted. Each of the five guests have their own reasons for taking on the challenge.

The exterior of the house, which is a real house in Los Angeles, looks today just as it does in the film. The success of this film inspired Alfred Hitchcock to make Psycho in 1960, on a low budget, using the crew from his TV series.
'Watson Pritchard' played the 'gunsel' in The Maltese Falcon.
