Intergenerational Duet

Swedish musician Seth Everman does a duet with his father, who is also a musician. I think we are supposed to be surprised that a 70-year-old musician segues into Metallica and really shreds, but his age really doesn't factor into it. I know a lot of 70-year-olds who love hard rock. Everman the elder is also an artist, and recreates the scene on canvas during the video! (via Digg)

Young folk these days !

I think you'll find that anyone who is anyone in the rock hall of fame IS 70 years old.

Let the undercooked think they made rock ... they didn't,
it was ... talking 'bout my g g g generation.

We used to walk uphill for 2 hours in the snow wearing cardboard shoes just to sit on a cold concrete bench outside the town hall in the prissing rain just to hear them practise.

Yes, the Rock Hall of Fame is full of 70 year olds but how many can still play as well?
That's even if they're still alive, many went down at 28.

Like so many other things, musical ability is a case of "use it or lose it".  Unless there is some other physical inability such as arthritis, paralysis, loss of a finger, or complete and utter dementia, as long as you keep your hand in, so to speak, you can still make that guitar or keyboard or whatever sing.
