The funny part about predicting the future? When you get it right, it's uncanny. But when you miss, polite people never mention it.

For example — the "Back to the Future" trilogy. They predicted that by 2015, we'd have hoverboards, flying cars, suto-drying clothes, self-tying shoelaces, and weather forecasts that are accurate down to the second ... but somehow completely missed the significance of the internet and cellphones!!
