Imagine Jason Bourne, Kylo Ren, Batman, and Villanelle all in one movie. And it's directed by Ridley Scott. With a screenplay by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Set in medieval France. Based on a true story. I'll have to say The Last Duel looks like it might be pretty good.
You can read the historical account of the duel between Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris, which is a pretty exciting story even in plain text.
