1974 VW Beetle Towing a Custom 5th Wheel Camper

I have some thoughts about this. My parents were Volkwagen fans, and we went everywhere in a Type 2 (first a '64 microbus, then a '71 Transporter, with which I learned to drive). Just trying to get a family of four up the mountains in Kentucky and Tennessee was a real strain on that tiny VW engine. I can't imagine it really pulling a travel trailer successfully. Well, maybe on completely flat ground, if you don't pack too much stuff. (via Nag on the Lake)
