How a 100 Million Year-Old Coastline Decides US Elections

Geography isn’t always destiny, but in this case, geography had a hand in what came much, much later. While it’s mainly about agriculture and slavery, I take exception with the nonsense about who “discovered” America, since there were plenty of people here already. The story is only about five minutes; the rest is an ad. (via Digg)

He does credit people discovering the continent 20,000 years ago, which is when people are thought to have first crossed the Bering Strait and first populated both North and South America. I don't know of any theories postulating a human presence prior to that.

Seems to me I read not long ago of evidence going back 35,000 years.

Jesus rode his dinosaur across Texas, so technically, he discovered the USA.

Don't be silly, Jesus don't need no dinosaur, that's Alley Oop.
