What? I first tried pizza topped with pineapple in Sausalito, California in the late 1970s and immediately pronounced it one of the most disgusting things I'd ever eaten. I've seen it recently in upstate New York, a place where people should know better. So how can this Canadian guy claim he invented this travesty? I vigorously agree with Iceland on this matter.

I first encountered it in 1976 at college. Not a fan. The chef claims he made it in the late 1950s.
