The Ronnie Horror Picture Show

The TV show Friday’s presented a mashup just after the presidential election of 1980 that used The Rocky Horror Picture Show as a platform for mocking the new Reagan administration. Here’s part two.

Nice one, MissC.
I saw Rocky Horror 67 times in various theaters, including The Waverly in Greenwich Village. A few times during Halloween on VH1.

A new Reagan administration and a presidential election in 1989? Hmmmm...

An egregious typo! Thanks, I will fix that.

Always loved Rocky Horror.
The guy that wrote it, Richard O'Brien, lives about 20 minutes away from my place.
There is a statue of Riff Raff, basically him, in Hamilton, NZ.

Now I'll be singing Science Fiction, Double Feature all day long.

OMG I so remember this. Watched it live in a corner office in the West Wing of the White House with two nighttime secretaries. We were, to use a more modern term, ROFL our arses off. Thanks for the memories!

Fridays was a great show, I remember Michael Richards playing with his toys in a sandbox pre-Kramer days.
I paid a fortune for two copies of Rocky Horror the day it was released on tape. Gave one to a chick that never said thank you.
