So a kid brings a briefcase loaded with batteries, transformers, and wires and the world apologizes but another kid wears a t-shirt with an American flag under a sweatshirt and gets suspended and the US yawns.

Ahmed was suspended, and arrested. The world may have apologized to him, but the local police and school administration have not.

Thansk for the dog story! I see the student with the t-shirt did get an apology from the school, and an expunged record. WAY too many overreactions in schools about dress codes.
