I’m Christian, But I’m Not…
Not all Christians live to judge others, and not all Christians seek headlines. Just like the large numbers of folks of other religions, the noisiest ones do not represent the whole group. Jesus himself boiled down what God wants into two commandments: Love God with all your heart, and love others as you love yourself. Follow that, and you’ve pretty much got it. (via Buzzfeed)

A breath of fresh air! I quit calling myself a Christian years ago because of the people who loudly proclaim their Christianity in the same breath as their denunciation of the poor as deadbeats and moochers, etc. I have often wondered if they ever read the words that Jesus spoke...
