I pity the people who don't get the reference...  just as I pity the people who don't understand many of my references to "The Princess Bride".  Seriously – I had (maybe I still do, stored in a box somewhere) that was black with one of those self-adhesive "Hello, my name is _________" tags printed on it...  and the printer had added "Inigo Montoya – you killed my father – prepare to die."

And I couldn't believe how many people of my age I still had to explain it to!!

When I was your age, television was called books.

Anonymous: The Princess Bride was a book before it was a movie. For the record, the book was better but the movie had a better ending. Since both were written by William Goldman, I am okay with that.

And whoever wrote that note must also have the scripture for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

As you wish, Bicycle Bill, but a Lot of us (capital intended) are bibliophiles, and even a heathen like me was forced to read the scriptures as a young fella.

I am only popping up here to remind you all that 75 degrees in faren height is pretty much 24 degrees in normal old Celsius.

&5 degrees in most countries kills you, literally your blood boils away and you die ... this is why the majority of English speaking countries use the normal Celsius scale ... to stop people dying.

And seriously, having freezing at zero degrees and boiling at 100 is the most logical way.

Fhar ren hite is almost as bad as measuring distance in chains, feets and furlongs (Lol, America land of old fashioned measuring scales)

It is not too late, you can learn.
