Now if we could get healthcare on that list, the current profits that now go to insurance companies could be used to make sure everyone is covered and overall costs go down.

Move to Canada. We do have universal healthcare that got me through several cancers and operations and chemotherapy. Not to mention everyday healthcare. And of coarse everything that is paid for by everyone, like firefighters and police is socialism. So what? Socialism is NOT communism.

Move to New Zealand, we do have universal healthcare that got me through open heart surgery. Not to mention I was also paid a living wage while i recuperated.
But my council rates, might be called property tax where you are, well they total up to around $4,000 a year, and I still have to pay for rubbish pick up, water usage, and the council even expects us to mow the grass alongside the road outside our properties, while stopping us planting flowers or herbs (what you guys call erbs ... for some strange wanna be French reason) ... so yeah, nah, don't move here, it will be a hate fest between you and the local council.
I was charged for the ambulance ride to hospital though, $88 for the hour and ten minutes trip.
