Honest Trailer: Rebel Moon

When you name a movie with both a number and a colon, not to mention two titles, and it's not a sequel, it conveys a certain aura of hubris, as if the producers are taking for granted that this will become a long-running franchise. And so it is with the movie officially titled Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire. Most of us just call it Rebel Moon. The movie, written and directed by Zack Snyder, has all the elements we expect in a science fiction adventure, which is not a guarantee of success. It was released on December 15 and received scathing reviews, even though plenty of people saw it, mostly on Netflix. Nevertheless, the second half of the story is scheduled to be released in April, and several other sequels are planned. What's wrong with Rebel Moon?
