The writers and cast of Saturday Night Live had to scramble to complete last night's opening skit, since the news of the the Chinese spy balloon being shot down off Myrtle Beach came in late Saturday afternoon. Bowen Yang is perfect as the balloon. While the script was being updated at the last minute, you just know Yang had called the role for himself days earlier.
The whole show was pretty funny, largely due to host Pedro Pascal, but you should definitely watch the Lisa from Temecula sketch. It's not particularly clever, but everyone involved corpsed sooner or later, so you have to laugh.
