Hot enough for ya? The Lovin' Spoonful had a #1 hit in 1966 with "Summer in the City." Sure, it's a lip-sync, but it's not often we get such as high-quality music video from back in those days.

I was 15 going on 16 when this song was an anthem. Memories.
Well, I was 10 or 11. My parents had dragged me away from my birth country and, after a while in South America and then a few years in Australia, we were living on a South Pacific island and I, being the wrong colour skin and talking a different language, was friendless and adrift ... but the songs of that era give me focus and life.
The first chord had me transported straight back, to that lonely yet wonderful time.
