On September 8, 1996, the Nickelodeon show Blue's Clues aired for the first time. To celebrate the TV series' 25th anniversary, Steve Burns, the original host, comes back to give us an update on his life, and an explanation for why he left the show so suddenly.
If you watched Blue's Clues as a child, or even as a parent with your child, this might leave you a little verklempt. And that's okay. But the truth of the matter is that Steve stepped down from hosting because he was going bald. "I knew I wasn't gonna be doing children's television all my life, mostly because I refused to lose my hair on a kid's TV show, and it was happenin'—fast."
But what's an anniversary without a music video? This one unites all three Blue's Clues hosts, Steve, Joe, and Josh, for a musical interlude.
