The Partition of India

Here's another bit of history you probably didn't learn in an American school because 1. the US had nothing to do with it, 2. anything more recent than 1492 didn't make it into your World History class, and 3. it was all a teacher could do to squeeze in World War II before the end of the school year. But what happened in India in the 20th century is important globally.
