A cat can do anything if the motivation is right, but "pleasing one's human" is usually not all that important to them. However, Temptations cat treats motivate Lucas Farrar's cat to open the box, whatever it takes. (via Digg)
Lordy, I had to quickly turn this off because my number one cat was sitting right next to me, if he saw that he would be out opening the cupboard door and pulling down the treats straight away. Why are they so expensive ? They cost $NZ18 here, about $12 in USA money, sometimes they are on special for $13 ($9 ish for you) and so I buy 4 or 5 packets at once, but even still, weight for weight, they cost more than 3 times the price of yummy chocolate covered biscuits (you call them cookies ?) that are made for humans. and that's at their special price, normal retail of $18 is almost 5 times human biscuits. I guess I don't HAVE to buy them, but I have the 6 cats here, 5 of them rescued from lives of a darker shade, and they deserve some good things.

Screw thumbs! Who needs 'em? Well done, kitty.
WilliamRocket, my guess is that they are made of meat and concentrated meat, which is way more expensive than any other food.
Here comes the puke.
