And what does the president want to talk about? Central American refugees, and how we must deploy the army to "defend" our country from them.

All true. It might be more impactful if the rest of the world didn't simply expect things to get worse, or much worse in the future. Let's face it, the US isn't going to curb its gun culture anytime soon. The political will simply doesn't exist yet. I've been watching from the sidelines for more than 40 years. Change my mind...
