I'm a lifelong Star Trek fan - TV, movies, books etc. etc. But
after 51 years I'm expected to pay CBS a monthly fee to
'access' their useless streaming service for the privilege
of watching it? Ain't gonna happen. Won't be watching the
premiere either. A decision made easier after that farce of
reboot back in 2009. But I digress. . .
I'm with gwdMaine. CBS Access S****. This is just a ploy to get people to use their service. It wont take long for people to figure out how bad it is. Just wait 1-3 weeks. It will show up somewhere on the "net for free.
So what you're saying, Bruce, is that you'll wait and watch stolen content after someone else pirates it and posts it.
Can't speak for Bruce, but I would. I don't do that now
but there are exceptions to every rule and this is one.
In the entertainment realm, Star Trek belongs to the
people - we did save it after all. You want to profit
from it - go make a movie. I'm also an old fart who
still believes 'free' TV. At least the concept. And
besides - it's CBS - phffft. . . .
Ahhh...no Bill. I did not say that I would wait and watch it. I just stated a fact. It will end up on the 'net somewhere. I tried CBS Access when it first came out. Pay a fee and then still had to sit through commercials. Maybe it's change but that did it for me.
