Oh yes, good ol' public shaming! Works on everyone but the shameless.
Remember when we wrote checks to pay for things? Remember when, if the check bounced and you didn't make it good, some businesses would put the check up on a "Wall of Shame" with a sign saying "Don't take checks from these people"? Problem was, usually very few people ever knew who the deadbeats were since their rubber checks were behind the bar or counter or whatever. It wasn't right out there in the open like the display of Doritos or the stack of six-packs.Betcha putting his name out in the open where EVERYBODY can see it, especially if he's a local person, gets him to clear up his bill faster than the old "Wall of Shame" did.-"BB"-
