The Joy of Adopting a Senior Cat

MK was found abandoned, sick, and scared. She was about ten years old and overweight, and spent too much time in more than one animal shelter. But when photographer Brittany Weatherby https://www.instagram.com/projecthxr/ came close to her cage, MK decided then and there that they were soul mates. It turns out that MK was as good for Brittany as a new home and family were good for MK. We don't know what MK stands for, but it could be "My Kitty." Or when you hear how she purrs, you might think it stands for "Motor Kitty." MK remains just as affectionate as she was when she first met her forever human. Watch her story and see the benefits of adopting a senior cat. You can see more of MK at Instagram. (via Laughing Squid)
