I have some experience with this. The municipal fireworks display on the Fourth of July always had a soundtrack to accompany it. So that people watching from a distance from the park could hear it, we aired it on FM. But that explanation doesn't make the headline sound any less funny. (via Bad Newspaper)

The fireworks guy has to be pretty sharp to stay with the music, know how long between ignition and explosion, with a whole bunch of things going on... or I guess off, at the same time.
