It appears that it made two false starts, possibly due to the slipperiness of the floor.-"BB"-
Yeah, I don't think it was the loss of speed on the two false starts it was not trusting the traction for the jump. I've seen a cat make a jump like that from a standing start with no run up. X-ray a cat and it's full of springs.
