Here we have another John DiMarco supercut of the things that tie all the Star Trek series together. Christopher Pike first uttered the word "Engage" in the Star Trek pilot episode "The Cage" 58 years ago, and it continued to be the order for making things happen on a starship for 40 years. Seeing all the different crews in different uniforms shows us how far the world of Star Trek has progressed. You have to wonder what circumstances could have possibly put the Enterprise's medical doctor in the captain's chair. Yeah, I know I must have seen that episode, but that was a long time ago. But why stop at 40 years? Do they not say the phrase at all in Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Picard, Lower Decks, or Prodigy? Nor in the movies made since 2005? Or is that the subject of the next John DiMarco supercut? I honestly don't know, since I quit watching TV years ago. (via Geeks Are Sexy)

Well. Beverley Crusher engaging the Enterprise is nothing compared to her expertise and marksmanship with the photon torpedoes as 40 years later that same ship flies like an x-wing fighter through and to the heart of a Borg cube. Which then left a whole bunch of fans salivating when Picard Season 3 ended on what Captain Seven will say to move the newly chistened Enterprise-G out of spacedock. .
Oh... Spoiler alert. Not sorry.
Quit watching TV? But, but, Simpsons, King of the Hill, American Dad, Family Guy, Futurama, Archer!
