Last time I was in Germany, pretty much all the women dressed that way, so you know it's authentic.

liverwurst on rye with mustard….DELICIOUS!!! I grew up eating liverwurst sandwiches (because liverwurst was cheap, I learned later). Still love them today. Liverwurst is sometimes aka pate.

Tomato sandwiches also delicious! Put bread in toaster, walk out to the garden to pick a tomato, slice tomato, slather bread with mayo (or Miracle Whip if that is your thing), make a sandwich sprinkled with salt and pepper, and eat it over the sink. Summertime heaven.

And no mention of curds and whey?

The Disappointing Edibles kids are a bunch of picky eaters.

I don't know if kids are more picky than adults, but they seem to be less afraid of expressing their dislike. Diplomacy is a learned trait kids haven't been taught yet.

Given the state of today's plastic tomatoes, I understand the tomato sandwich being on the list. But a real (fresh) tomato sandwich is a culinary delight. But on good stick to the roof of your mouth white bread. Apologies, but if you're gonna toast it, you might as well throw in some bacon & lettuce.

As for the rest of that list, other than liver gagmewithaspoon wurst, and maybe chocolate babies (something appears to be not quite right there), they're all good.
