Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart star in the 1951 film The African Queen. Hepburn is a British missionary traveling through a German colony in Africa on a steamboat piloted by a Canadian mechanic played by Bogart. All is well until World War I breaks out and they begin noticing the brutality of the German overlords now that they themselves are in danger. Bogart won an Oscar for his performance.
