Shelter Dogs Celebrate Santa Paws Day

Santa Claus brings gifts to good little boys and girls on Christmas, so how much do all the good dogs waiting for new homes deserve a new toy? The shelter dogs at Dogs Trust Ireland recently celebrates Santa Paws Day, in which each dog got to select their own toy from a huge selection of plush animals, balls, and squeaky chew toys provided by donors. Some dogs carefully inspected every toy before choosing the one they deemed perfect. Others ran in a grabbed the first toy they saw. Let us hope that by next year, all these dogs will have what they want most- a loving home they can call their own. (via Metafilter)
