Ain't it the truth? Of course, you have to put yourself in the shoes of a young man like Matt Shirley. For this old lady, my December calendar filled up even before the month began. Between Advent activities, the church bazaar, two Christmas parties, two concerts, a candlelight service, a church dinner, and preparing for family to arrive (plus my end of the year lists), I've been cooking, decorating, and shopping up a storm. Years of experience has taught me that waiting until the last minute is a recipe for disaster. Besides, I know that when that last minute comes, I will have to help someone else through a disaster.
