Artificial Intelligence Makes a Nature Documentary

If a neural network was trained by watching nature documentaries, it might have a decent shot at recreating one of its own. This one is about ants. But it appears that it has been exposed to other media as well which was not filtered out before making this presentation. This is so weird and funny that at first I had my doubts whether it was actually an algorithm that made this or a human mocking artificial intelligence. But the YouTube description explains the different neural networks used. So what we have is a collaboration of some fairly advanced programs available to the public. The human editing this did a fine job in making it just comprehensible enough to laugh at. (via reddit)
