You take your seat around a campfire, and the smoke from it makes its way toward you. You move around, and the smoke follows you. Someone says, "Smoke follows beauty!" just to make you feel better. When this happens campfire after campfire, you start to say it first yourself. But is the smoke really following you around, or is it your imagination? Hank Green explains the forces at work in excruciating detail, but manages to make it interesting. Now what I really want to know is why smoke follows me around, but doesn't follow the next person. Oh well, at least it discourages mosquitos. The last minute of this video is an ad. (via Laughing Squid)
