Ukraine Wins Eurovision

The six-man hip-hop group Kalush Orchestra won the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Stephania." No surprise there; they're very good and everyone was rooting for Ukraine anyway. The surprise was that the UK came in second, after an abysmal track record over the years. The lettering of the country's name probably helped.

The farce that is Eurovision is treated as a joke in the UK by 95% of the population. The UK songs are rubbish on purpose. Whay happened this year will forever be a mystery as few can be bothered to find out.

Maybe the voters saw "UK" on the options and thought they were voting for Ukraine.
