Five times? Really?I just checked my local supermarket, and loose garlic is $25 per kilo (so over $10 per lb). And that's not "organic", which would cost more of course.
How many bulbs are in a kilo? I just buy a bulb at a time, and the cost is fairly insignificant. Mostly I use garlic-ginger paste out of a jar.
