Ringtone Timeline

Yeah, maybe I should set my phone to vibrate, but I then would never know when it's ringing, especially in the truck where everything is vibrating already. I use an old flip phone. It has about five default rings, which are the ones you hear everywhere. It's not easy to go online with this dinosaur, so I have used the same ringtone for about ten years. People in church always giggle when they hear the Imperial March, because they know it's mine. This comic is from Randall Munroe at xkcd.

Mine is the Ithaca Audio mashup of Don't Hold Back. Has been since I first heard it - on your site I believe.

I'm still using music, (Adam Ant's Kings of the Wild Frontier's B-side unlisted final track: The Lost Hawians) thinking I can spread some "chill" when I receive a call in public. No one ever calls though. I'm thinking that it might be because I'm the sort of person who actually thinks that they are spreading chill with their choice of obscure musical ringtone. There is a definite correlation.
