This video presentation from the American Museum of Natural History traces what we know about human evolution by combining a timeline, a map, animation, photographs, and artistic representations of various hominins. It's a wonderful visual presentation of data. You have to wonder what the world was like when different species of hominins lived in the same geographical era.
