First off, this video contains adult subject matter, possibly NSFW language, and flashing lights, if that’s a concern. Otherwise, it’s quite interesting. Ted Turner started the Cartoon Network because his hobby was starting new channels to show the vintage media he was collecting. If you wanted something new and different to show on the channel, tough luck, you had no budget for it. That’s how Adult Swim was born. But necessity is the mother of invention, and what the producers lacked in funds, they made up in audacity. Adult swim spawned new worlds in animation. (via reddit)
