Fine Feathers is a 1968 short film by Canadian animator Evelyn Lambart. The entire production is made of paper, painted and cut into pieces. Two rival birds trade in their feathers for something they believe is prettier: cedar branches for the blue jay, and red oak leaves for the loon. But they soon find out that beauty is fleeting, and vanity has its drawbacks. (via
