John Oliver on Food

Americans love food -lots of it, and not always the best food for us. What’s even more American is how much food we manage to waste, while some folks go without. So what are we going to do with it? In my house, Mom eats the leftovers. Even peels are used, in my compost pile, which produces the world’s best garden and potting soil. But industrial waste is what’s really huge, and we should figure something out about that. This is from last night's episode of the HBO show Last Week Tonight.
