Enter Pyongyang

We’ve seen plenty of time-lapse videos of major cities, and they are all beautiful, each with their own flavor. But Pyongyang, North Korea, is a major metropolis that few of us will ever get to see in real life. This video of the city is a collaboration by travel agency Koryo Tours, “branding expert” JT Singh, and videographer Rob Whitworth. It comes across as a tourism spot, and the makers admit that life in the city is not representative of life in North Korea as a whole. But it is also artful, with panoramic segues and various speeds.
