The neighboring little town of Yale, Iowa has Bathtub Races as their centerpiece for festivities- An old cast iron bathtub is on wheels, filled with water. One member of the team sits in the tub and steers while the rest of the team pushes them through a slalom up and down main street. The winner is the one with the most water left in the tub at the end. Oh, and people on both sides of the street throw water balloons at them (and each other) while it is happening!
Happy 4th, Miss C!
