Are they going back to their home planet?
With the type of politicians in the World today they'll need a bigger ship.

They wouldn't even get out of the solar system before they kicked them out the airlock. "That one would NEVER stop making wha wha sounds and what was that other one trying to say about my space suit?"
sadly, this scenario results in speaker of house as commander in chief. not really an improvement
