#11 My Son Had A Speaking Part In A Play At His School Despite Speech Issues!
She wrote, “This interfered with his confidence quite a bit, as one could imagine. His dad and I always felt like we had to “translate” whenever he was talking to someone!”
I’m not a speech therapist or psychologist but it strikes me as Mom and Dad being that protective by translating would undermine the kids confidence more than anything.
