Hmm, and yet when you look at Google Maps you don't see it like the photo. Makes me think the photo is a composite of four photos taken when the light enhances each side.

The pyramids were 4 sided when they were finished with the casing stone.
If you remove the plaster from a wall it's not smooth any more but that's not it's intended appearance.
The pyramids without casing stone are not their intended appearance.
Take the paint off cars and claim they’re all silver.
