Saturday Night Live Opens Their 50th Season

SNL opened last night in the manner you expected, by introducing Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. Jim Gaffigan is Tim Walz, Andy Samberg is Doug Emhoff, James Austin Johnson is Trump as usual, and Bowen Yang is JD Vance, and Dana Carvey makes a special appearance as Joe Biden. It's rather long for an opening skit, because they have a lot of material to catch up on after this summer. I, for one, am looking forward to Doug Emhoff supervising the White House Christmas decorations.
