Personally, I think the Sobering Reminder of Frugal Living was covered in a posted /AskReddit thread last week or so which covered that very topic (like cut up weiners in scambled eggs for supper). . . The stuff here may be be considered frugal, but I'd wager most people (still) eat it because it's good. Simple sure, but good.
