It's true. We can have all the robots possible, but they won't go to war until someone programs them to. Robots taking your job is only a bad thing when it causes you to be poor, which is a consequence of the economic system humans developed. Any social engineering from robots would have to come from human programming, and we still don't understand why we do the things we do. Just goes to prove just how far ahead of himself Isaac Asimov was when he came up with the Three Laws of Robotics, specifically the Second Law: "A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law."
And just as a reminder, the First Law was "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."
