You'd be amazed at the replies. Way too many people thought Cash was being serious about "government propaganda" because their sarcasm meters are broken. So she had to post a followup.Me, my dad, and my daughter getting brainwashed by a yellow purveyor of government propaganda way back in 1991. pic.twitter.com/CcibkIMWuI

And even that will be too ambiguous for some people. (via Fark)A little snarky humor used to be tolerated. Now it’s like throwing gasoline on an oil slick, or some metaphor like that. Big Bird has been encouraging kids to get vaccinated since 1972 and I love my family photo. I wasn’t trying to start a culture war.

If you make a snarky tweet or comment it is best to put snark or satire after it.There are so many people who just have to say nasty things and untruths that it is hard to tell the difference between what they state and another person's satire.
Agree Dan, sarcasm, clever comebacks, witty repartee, and humor in general, have been banished from the internet. A few people were looking for a chance to correct grammar, spelling, and fine points. But they have been pushed aside by a horde who want to preach their political philosophy by attacking anyone who hints at a different view. It’s a shame the promise of a wonderful venue to discuss things has been killed.
I got it right away that she was being sarcastic.
